Old Buntin village of Khonsa Parish gets new Church

The people of old Buntin village moved to their new Church building on 11 March with thanksgiving and joyful celebrations.

It was a day of great blessing for the people of Old Buntin who were overjoyed to have their own church accessible to them even during the rainy season.  This village is usually cut off by the floods until the dry season in six months. With this Church in place and a bit of improved connectivity, the faithful do not have to wait for long to have Holy Mass even during rainy season.

Bishop George blessed the Church on 11 March in the midst of a large gathering of guests from around Khonsa town.

The people expressed their joy at having a proper Church in their midst in their own village.
